Panel Application - Boston - Fan Expo

FAN EXPO EVENT APPLICATION


We want YOU to be a part of FAN EXPO Boston! We’re looking for passionate people to lead discussions, teach workshops, host game shows, record live podcasts, present anime dance performances, manage meetups, and more. Use this application to show us what you got. This is your chance to be the star of the show!
 

The more details you can provide, the better. All event submissions will be reviewed for consideration, but only those selected will be contacted.  

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU APPLY

Deadlines: 

  • Submissions are open until approximately 45 days before the event
  • Selected participants will be contacted approximately 30 days before the event 

Content: 

  • Please keep your content family-friendly (no adult language/content whatsoever). Otherwise specify (18+) at the start of your title.
  • Sessions are 45 minutes in length with 15 minutes to set up/break in between  
  • Events must end on time even if they begin late 
  • Events can have a maximum of 6 panelists, including a moderator 
  • Accepted events will receive up to six (6) badges for their participants, as determined by FAN EXPO HQ 
  • Badges are good for all days of the convention  
  • All participants must be present for their events 
  • FAN EXPO cannot host any virtual events, provide any moderators, or show guests 

        AV:

        • Panel rooms are equipped with TV screens or a projector, 3-4 mics, a table, and chairs 
        • Panel spaces typically have theater or classroom seating 
        • Please bring a laptop if you would like to show a presentation 
        • You can hook up through the HDMI/Audio Cable  
        • Macs will require that you provide an HMDI adaptor
        • No additional tech is provided unless approved by the coordinator 
        • Wi-Fi is not provided. You must arrange a personal hotspot if you require Wi-Fi for your event.
